It is light amber in color with an aroma of dill, vanilla, and baking spices. The flavor is heavy on dill with a smack of spice and vanilla in the finish.
Sweet, somewhat floral, bit with a pleasant level of rye spice. Finish is short and a bit hot. I rate this not as good as Old Overholt (my favorite rye even though it comes in ar 80 proof) and Old Overholt BiB (which drinks hotter than WT 101).
Nose:
Musty, earthy almost mulch like, then a light minty herbal quality. Oak very present as well
Sip:
Sweeter on the initial sip with a funk to it. Very clingy to the throat and tongue. Oak still present
Finish:
Mid to long, turns a bit sugary and back to that mint.
I kinda dig it. Killer in a Monte Carlo
