Black pepper, butterscotch, straw, coriander, vanilla, and pine on the nose. Mouthfeel is silky at first, then becomes more tannic. Palate has more notes of pine, vanilla, and pepper, plus orange peel, pencil lead, and subtle peanut. A bit of heat through the midpalate which tapers off very quickly. Finishes relatively long. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)
