Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Small Batch Bourbon (High Rye Bourbon)

Slightly minty on the nose from the local rye grains. Sweet and refreshing taste with a bit of heat from being 100 proof. Very good.

This is a pretty fun and flavorful bourbon. The malted barley is very present, especially with its moderately long and warm finish. Some upfront oak and smoke followed by some spice and pine. Not my typical profile of choice, but will really enjoy this again in the fall.
