J.P. Wiser's Deluxe

I may have a bad sample bottle, but this was not a good experience for me. Unremarkable nose followed by a watery, strong vanilla, light citrus palate. That would be ok, but this one also was a bit bitter. I'll try again.

Did enjoy it neat, Taste some caramel and spice and toffee as finish. Wasnt great but it was the last sip of a bottle that was open for a while. Will need to buy one and retry it to give a better review.

Kind of boring

Toasted grains and apple with the familiar "rye" finish. Better for mixing than sipping.
