Reviewed March 15, 2025Nose: Slight pear-drop note. Crisp green apple. Retro nasal offers a caramel toffee apple. Palate: Slighty oily texture. Sweet burst of concentrated white grape. Light oaky barrel spice. Orchard fruits. Finish: Lingering wine flavours and some dry tannins. Notes: This was fresh out of the bottle and I think it needs some time to itself to relax. I'll revisit it in a month or so. -

Reviewed January 7, 2024 (edited January 8, 2024)Big fruity nose with a hint of fudge. Medium body, the wine cask contributes a sweetness that's not overwhelming, and it's fruity. Some confectioners sugar. There's a slightly sulfuric essence that's present but not strong enough to seriously detract. Overall it's pretty good, but I preferred the cask strength over this.
