Nice malty nose with an intriguing blend of high Sherry and mid-range Marsala perfume. Exceptional entry with a smooth malt sweetness enhanced to 11 by the double ex-wine casks. The grape flavors come through after about a minute, but never overwhelm the base spirit. This is as close to a dessert whiskey as we've ever enjoyed.
