Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Between this and Wild Turkey 101, all I can taste from this mash bill is peanuts, caramel, and very light smoke. Even at $27/bottle, this felt overpriced.

Flavor is great. The bite at the end is a bit strong

Had this one both straight and in an Old Fashioned. Its spicy, but still has a woody sweetness to it. Not a favorite, but not bad. The cocktail was fine, but not significantly better than with Evan Williams.

Very nice sipper, would hold up very nicely in a cocktail. Normal taste profile for a high rye bourbon and that’s a good thing. Nice medium to long finish with very little heat. Very approachable boubon.
