Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Very spicy. Tastes higher proof than it is.

Rating: 12/23 I'd heard that this was fairly good, but overpriced, so I got a flight with it in a bar. It's young and light, but not very harsh. The lack of harshness makes guessing the age kind of difficult. It's certainly not very old, but I could be convinced that it was anywhere in the 3 to 6 range. There's a light caramel corn flavor in here that I like. This is actually pretty solid in a surprising way, like Ancient Age. I'd take this over the Ancient Age, but not by much, and certainly not considering the price difference.
