    This is the second release for the brand's Special Finishes Collection following the Toasted Stave Finish which launched in October 2023. Here, Limestone Branch Master Distiller Stephen Beam began with four year-old bourbon made with a traditional mash bill. Then the bourbon was finished for nine weeks in barrels which previously held rum distilled with molasses made from sugarcane grown in Cuba. Bottled at 100 proof, it's available nationwide beginning March 2024. (SRP $49.99)

    This limited edition release from the Spot Whiskeys is the second in its Gold Spot series. This bottling features single pot still whiskey aged 13 years using both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry in its maturation. It was then finished for 16 months in Valpolicella Classica Italian wine casks sourced from the Secondo Marco Winery in Fumane, near Verona. Bottled without chill-filtration at 46% ABV, it's available beginning March 2024 in the US, Ireland, UK, France, and Travel Retail Ireland (SRP €150)

    This signature release from Killowen features a sourced single malt whiskey matured for a minimum 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels. It was finished in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks and ones that had been used to age the distillery's own dark rum. Bottled at 55% ABV, it's available in the US beginning March 2024. (SRP $77/375ml)

    This single malt is matured for a minimum 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry butts and casks that once contained the distillery's own coconut rum.     This expression, which translates from Gaelic to "authentic" or "trustworthy", features the brand's own distillate. Using a flame-fed copper pot still with a worm tub condenser for the distillation, it's made from a mash bill of malted barley, unmalted barley, malted marris otter barley, oats, and wheat that is fermented with a combination of wild and cultured yeast. It is matured for a minimum 3 years in a freshly-dumped ex-cognac cask made from American oak. Bottled without chill-filtration at at 61% ABV, it's available exclusively in the US as of March 2024.     First released in 2018, The Chocolate Edition from Douglas Laing & Co.'s Scallywag features a Speyside blended malt which is fully matured in sherry casks. For this seventh edition, the brand has given the whisky a lengthy finish in port casks. This release also is packaged in a black bottle with a bespoke paper wrap featuring a map of Portugal. Bottled without added color or chill-filtration at 48% ABV, it's available at select retailers beginning March 2024. (SRP £60.00)

    Batch 037 from the brand's Experimental Single Batch Series highlights the flavor impact of an heirloom variety known as Dinkel wheat (aka spelt or hulled wheat), one of the first domesticated grains in history. This release was made from a blend of two whiskeys styles, each pot-distilled and made with Dinkel wheat, malted barley, and yellow corn with an average of 51% wheat in the final product. It was aged over four years in multiple types of toasted and charred oak barrels and bottled at 105 proof. Available online and at the brand's Experimental Distillery in Chattanooga beginning March 2024. (SRP $69.99)
