Tequila Reposado You Will Love

Avión Tequila revamped its packaging in mid-2018 to reflect the single origin for its agave. All agaves used in the production of the tequila is sourced from the town of Jesus Maria, located at 7,000 ft. above sea level in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. The tequila is distilled in small batches and finished with a "proprietary" ultra-slow filtration. Each bottle is hand-filled and labeled with batch number, a bottle code, and for its aged products, the number of months the tequila is aged. For the reposado, that is 6 months in used American oak bourbon barrels.

Founded in 2012 by Colorado-based Laurence Spiewak and Lance Sokol, the double-distilled Suerte Tequilas are produced at a family-run distillery in the highlands of Jalisco. Following the distillery’s laborious traditional methods, the Suerte Reposado is aged for seven months in single-use Jack Daniels barrels.

The name "Magueyera" refers to the single estate ranch where the agave is grown for this tequila, a play on the word "maguey." The agave is grown 1600 meters above sea level in gray clay soil, which it shares with Guamuchile trees, in south-facing slopes which benefit from full sunlight.

This 100% agave tequila is distilled in Los Altos of Jalisco by Enrique Fonseca Cerda, Master Distiller. Distilled twice, the first time in a stainless-steel alembic pot-still and a second time in a copper pot-still. Their reposado is aged for 9 months in French oak barrels.

Familia Camarena Reposado is a 100% agave tequila. The agave piñas or centers are hand harvested and typically weigh more than 100 pounds. The piñas are slow roasted in traditional stone ovens for several days before the juices are fermented and distilled. This reposado is aged for 60 days in American oak barrels before bottling.

Distilleria San Matias is one of the oldest tequila producers in Mexico, and its brand Pueblo Viejo is considered one of the leading brands in the Mexican market, now recognized in the US. The reposado is made from 100% agave grown in the Los Altos, Jalisco . It's aged 9 months in American oak.

Azuñia Reposado is distilled from 100% blue weber agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico which are harvested 8 to 10 years after planting. The agave is roasted in clay hornos ovens for 36 hours before being distilled twice. This reposado is aged for up to 8 months in American oak barrels before being bottled and distributed. It is USDA certified organic. Additive free.

To celebrate 10 years of business, Siembra Azul founder David Suro decided to tap his playful side and combined a reposado (aged between 2 - 12 months) with a touch of extra añejo (aged 3 - 5 years). All the agave used was between 5 - 8 years old at harvest, distilled in a combination of copper and stainless steel pots as well as column stills. All of the distillate was aged in new Missouri white oak. Pushing the boundaries of tequila, this rare limited edition was created at the family distillery of Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados.

As part of the second release of the Expresiones de Corazón, a special blend of tequila was made using agave from Los Altos, Jalisco with brix measured for sweetness before harvesting. Some were harvested with higher sugar, some with lower. The resulting blanco was then added to select ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels and aged for several months.

Casamigos (loosely translated to "house of friends") is indeed the tequila brand created by George Clooney and Rande Gerber. The agaves are sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco and this reposado is aged for 7 months in reconditioned whiskey barrels and is bottled at 80 proof.
