Casoo’s place: Not sure why the low rating, decent bourbon, smooth on the front and back, not too sweet, very dictionary definition of what I think of when someone asks what Bourbon tastes like, no more no less no surprises.

Yes it has sweet notes and balance upfront, but has the Johnn walker finish in the end, like Johnny walker did a decent scotch, which doesn’t necessarily make it good. 1 and done

Anita’s Xmas gift bottles: Despite the age, it’s still a bit harsh in the back, that a scotchy harsh in a bad way. Does a slight sweetness, but overall just ok, nothing to revisit.

Easy scotch, sweet, notes of banana. Slight strong burn in the back. No smoke no pead. Nice one time, not bad, definitely different, but nothing to write home about.

Dark color, long legs, def aged and def bodied. Smokey wood campfire smell, a little marshmallow. Smokey wood, briney taste, smokey/peppery finish like drinking a lerfrct cogar (doing right what blue la el does wring. Perfect! Anniversary dinner: First truly smoked scotch other than the blue label that was disgusting. This was smoked, but the taste was slightly sweet. Low burn, even in the back end. Perfect for 1 glass, Smokey, balances, great solid scotch taste.

Decent balance of not too sweet, light burn, apricots. Good one time, no need to go again.

A decent scotch for their standard; sweet, caramel, vanilla, not Smokey, has a burn in the back. Amber color with a strong alcohol scent in front, but opens nicely to a sweeter vanilla taste later. Opens up with a few drops of water.

Smooth, yes. Better than other JWs, yes. Tastes ashey, cigarette ashey, not for me. This is the tops, so I’m out on JW.

Wouldn’t call it peanut butter, more caramel and walnut. Pretty sweet, more than any old fashion. Great one time drink, unique, but not a sipper. Too sweet, better mixed into other drinks.

Moose brought this, a little aggressive in the beginning and end, but sweet and balanced in the middle. Notes of Apple and peach.
