Four Roses Private Selection Single Barrel Barrel Strength Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 26, 2021A good bourbon, definitely aggressive but also somehow sweet and smooth. Slow sip, but the aggressiveness kinda overpowers. Still pretty solid! Make sure not to get the more aggressive version of the 2018. -
Glenglassaugh Evolution
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 24, 2021 (edited October 29, 2021)It’s got a bit of a harsh scotch taste, but not terrible. It does have a hint of vanilla sweetness (as a base) and some saltiness and Smokeyness, but there is a scotch burn. Good one time drink. -
Highland Park 18 Year
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed February 21, 2021 (edited April 26, 2022)Mild/mod peated, moderately sweet, soooo smooth and balanced, a little bit of smokiness in a good way. Nice slow sipper. Sweetness isn’t enough to make you drink a lot quickly like a bourbon, perfect supper!!! I could drink an entire bottle of this. -
Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon
