Westland Sherry Wood American Single Malt
American Single Malt — Washington , USA
Reviewed November 7, 2015 (edited November 24, 2015)Throw in a splash of cold water and it's an incredible array of flavors that belie the barley and sherry casks. Think chocolate covered espresso beans, slight oak and bananas. Ignoring price, this is a 92-95 point dram. More aging could yield something incredible. Mildly overpriced at this maturity. -

Old Potrero Hotaling's Single Malt Rye
Other Whiskey — California, USA
Reviewed January 14, 2015 (edited September 17, 2015)When you first open the bottle, you get strong nose of tequila, which didn't impress me. And the very first taste has a lot of the same qualities, but it quickly morphs into a smooth, buttery very flavorful rye. I really like this, not sure how it will go into a sazerac but it's great for sipping. -
Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 3
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed January 2, 2015 (edited January 16, 2015)A bit of a disappointment, at this price. The nose is interesting and promising, but the flavor is thin and there is nothing especially prominent on the tongue. Not worth the $90 I paid for a (signed) bottle.
