Salt, burnt driftwood, dank sea air, peat, dirty, rubber, a bit medicinal, just a hint of sweet sherry and a lil banana Body: salty, woody, oily, thick, well-rounded Palate: a sauna, the salt carries through, warm wood, slightly sweet, salt water, VERY briney Finish: slightly tannic, mouth-coating, spicy/salty, very woody, medium-long and warming

Reviewed August 27, 2020 (edited December 22, 2021)LAST DRAM OF BOTTLE—been open for about 6/7 months Nose: medicinal, soggy drift wood, salty, smoky, burnt rubber, briny Body: full and spicy, salty and burning Palate: mellower than it was, a little more florality, a bit more woody, brine, high salinity, Peat and smoke Finish: long, salty and woody It’s become an excellent dram over time, a little more mellow and a little less jarring. Incredibly sad to see my bottle go! -

Nose: smoked meat, ham, smoky bacon, a little sharp, hints of rye, vanilla, slight salinity Body: smooth at first then spice, bright and fresh, creamy yet zesty Palate: less smoke than expected at first, salty meat, floral, spicy, zesty, saline, very well balanced Finish: smoky, woody and spicy, long, bright

Nose: a little soapy, fruity, sweet, marzipan, dark chocolate, hints of coffee, mint dental polish, bathroom(?????) Body: very nasal, robust, spicy, thick, boozy Palate: complex, spicy, syrupy, fruity, firey, hints of cherries and cinnamon, chocolate and cocoa powder, some coffee, roasted peanuts in cocoa Finish: long, woody, spicy, zesty, ginger, nice and musty

Nose: chocolate cherries, smooth with hints of spice, rich, stewed fruit, Granny Smith apples Body: smooth, a little tannic, not very full-bodies Palate: earthy, pears in cinnamon, nutmeg, Christmas spice, fig?, a lil chocolate, peat puff at the very end Finish: medium, woody, chocolate cherries, ice cream Overall good and pleasing if slightly weak/bland

Nose: hints of bourbon and spice, a little floral at the back, little banana. Somewhat subdued, vanilla. Bright and fresh. Body: thick and spicy. Boozy. Aggressive. Slightly syrupy Palate: spicy, bourbon, nutmeg?, hot and peppery, a little tannic, but also a little green/young tasting Finish: nice, spicy, warming, mouth coating Overall, pretty good but a bit green/young tasting. A little too aggressive.
