Tastes

Hands down my favorite from this line. Amazing fruit and sweet in the nose! Taste hits those notes, possibly plum fruit, and adds some spice. A little more heat than the previous two, but finish is smooth and complex.

Nose has caramel and apple. Taste blends both of those with a touch of smoke. Not as much as Boss Hog IV. Smooth and long finish.

Nose of hazelnut, caramel and fruit. Taste hits those notes but adds some light char/smoke. Excellent balance with very long finish. Slight spice in the front as well.

Nose is light and sweet with hints of cola, toffee and chocolate. The taste brings the toffees and the chocolate, but throws in some cinnamon. Body is viscous. One of my wife’s personal favorites!

Nose of caramel popcorn, maple, vanilla and oak. Taste of oak, oak and more oak. Some light vanilla and toffee sweet mixed in. Smooth finish. I really love this one.

Nose of brown sugar, cola, light spices and citrus. Body is viscous. Taste has maple, pecan and some spices. Truly a wonderful blend that should be experienced by all whiskey lovers, if you can find it.

Nose of maple, oak, vanilla, spices and alcohol. Due to the unfiltered and uncut nature, it’s a little on the harsh/hot side for me. What I do get in the taste is wood, cinnamon spice and vanilla. The wonderful sweet found in the aroma is very mild and in the background.

Nose of brown sugar and mild cherry fruit. Taste leads into honey/brown sugar. Mild spice on the front of the tongue and a hint of candied cherry on the finish. Overall pretty smooth and mellow.

Nose is peanut brittle with mild peat and smoke. Taste has some honey notes and similar peat/smoke from the nose. Almost seems slightly watered down even though I added no water.

Honey and some well balanced upfront spice slowly lead to a brown sugar and wood charred finish. Finish is smooth. Expensive bottle, but very delicious and complex.
