Wonderful notes of caramel, vanilla and oak. Nice spice up front and surprisingly smooth for the proof. Would love to add this to my collection.

Definitely feel the proof on this one, but it’s not over the top. Good balance of spice, caramel sweet and vanilla.

Definitely wood forward, but really enjoyable. Nice spice up front and smooth finish. Light smoke and some butterscotch notes as well.

The Boss Hog VII is one of my all time favorites so far his has a lot to live up to. Molasses, alcohol vapors and spices permeate the aroma. Fully body with nice balance of molasses, spices, smoke and pepper. Finish is smooth and lingering with some heat. Very delicious, but not quite as good as the previous version.

Light smoke, green pepper and butterscotch on the nose. Body is on the thinner side. Pepper and light brown sugar come through in the taste. Good, but maybe a little pricey for the flavor.

Butterscotch, caramel and brown sugar in the nose. Caramel and brown sugar carry through to the taste with the addition of some spice and pepper. The light heat on the finish is nice as well.

Nose of cinnamon, toffee and banana bread. On the palate you have some nice heat on the finish, light to medium body and similar to the nose with banana bread and toffee. Good pour.

Aroma has apricot, pecan and brown sugar. Taste hits more toward the oak, char and mild sweet. Consistently dries with every sip.

Love that what makes Highland Park doesn’t get lost here, but gets some added complexity from the aging in wine casks. There’s plenty of smoky peat, but vanilla, oak and some dried fruit come through as well. Full review here on my YouTube! https://youtu.be/tCfxH5xC-tw

Caramel, maple and pecan on the nose, but not too sweet. Good amount of heat, but that gives way quickly to so many wonderful flavors. Burnt sugar, pecan and fruit. Surprisingly smooth for the proof. Wow.
