Tastes

Neat of course. I wanted to be a scotch guy (for under $60) but that guy doesn't exist. Good news, under $100 scotch guy does. Nose smoke hits you first but so much more, like a meaty iodine campfire. Tastes like your cooking bacon over a leather fire.... but in a good way. Smoke, sweet meats, then smoke again. My dad would say "This whiskey puts hair on your chest!"

Neat. Light legs with a smokey peat nose. Smoke first into a light smooth sweet and then the smoke comes back like a good brisket. Very light in color and not strong straight. A pretty good sleeper peated whiskey.

Neat - light spice astringent nose w med small legs. Smooth oil with a med spice after. Good, not great.

Nose spicy pear with long thick legs. Straight- spicy full carmel. Pretty good!

Spicy marshmallow nose with nice legs Straight up- roasted sugar with a medium spicy finish. This is a great decently priced rye!!!

Spicy vanilla nose with thin legs. Straight up - carmel with medium pepper spice. Pretty good for a $30 bottle

Straight up - light legs, fruity citrus nose. Oak and fruity flavor w med sweet and light smoke. Splash of water - brings out more smooth citrus fruitiness with a light spice finish. Prefer the splash

Sharp nose, carmel at first and med spice finish.
