Floral, honey nose. Mild spice and fruit palate. Short, sweet finish.

Crisp, fresh, shows its youth but enjoyable. Light sugar, caramel nose. Green apple, cocoa, sugar and vanilla with peanut and caramel to add weight. Hay, wood and pepper finish. 2nd place in a blind test with Piggyback, Johnny Drum and Old Bardstown. 1st place in a blind test with Buffalo Trace, 1792, Green River, Blue Note and Early Times. So a solid replacement for Buffalo Trace.

Sugar, honey, flowers and sawdust on the nose. Green apple, mellow fruit and mint taste. Apples, spices and oak finish. Top of the entry level BiB class (100 proof class, more accurately) with Old Grandad 100, Piggyback and Early Times 100.

Barnyard, sawdust, caramel, vanilla and corn nose. Caramel, burnt sugar and orange palate. Oak and spice finish. Top of the affordable 100 proof class along with Early Times 100, Piggyback, Wheel Horse 101 and Wild Turkey 101.

Caramel, taffy and sugar nose with some grassy citrus. Nuts, oak, summer fruit and vanilla palate. Pretty mellow. Oak and mild spice finish. Top of the affordable 100 proof class. Fighting with Old Grandad 100, Wheel Horse 101, Piggyback and Wild Turkey 101. A worthy contender for Buffalo Trace.

For the price, a decent mixer.
