Vanilla, apple, mild wood, honey. Short spicy finish.

A boozy sipper with lots of cola-apple-caramel-oak, orange and spice as it fades. The high wheat content gives it feathery edges for the proof. Underrated especially at this price.

Remind me not to buy this again.

Apple, sugar, caramel on the nose, cinnamon spice kicks in on the palate with burnt sugar, toffee, cocoa, pecans, long tingly finish. One of those dark, autumnal bourbons. Good comp for Dickel 13yr BiB, Old Forester 1920, Stellum Hunter’s Moon. In a blind test this got second.

Smooth and fruity, oak and vanilla, tastes a little young for 10-12 years but enjoyable. I’d likely opt for Russell’s Reserve 10 year at this price point.
