This one takes a few weeks to open up. Well worth it! On the nose, I get yellow frosting. The palate is a rich malty milk chocolate texture. A drop of water brings out the milk chocolate and a slight spoiled milk taste but not off putting. The finish is medium to long. This is between a 4-4.25 for me. Enjoyable glass but probably will not replace.79.99 USD per Bottle

Glengoyne 18 was really up and down for me. I had the bottle open for about a year but I would occasionally get sour notes on the nose. Not sure why that happened and when it did, the bottle would go right back into the closet. Overall, the nose was fairly interesting but unfortunately, it was the main highlight for me. Nose: Milk Chocolate, toffee/burnt caramel, and red apples. With time the caramel evolves to notes of buttery caramel and syrup. Tastes: Clean, rich but watery, complex, and spice. Hints of apricot and a unique finish of coconut. Finish: Medium and velvety I purchased it at Remedy Liquor for a great price. However, it seems like all the Glengoyne core range whiskies have gone up in price dramatically since the end of 2019. It's currently priced at $130. At that price, I probably wouldn't get another bottle. The nose was good but the palate and finish were nothing special.76.99 USD per Bottle

Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 2, 2020 (edited May 14, 2020)I think Phil and Deepa from Whiskey Mystery described this best as a perfume for trees. The nose is elegant with some personality. It's bright, caramel, and bitter oaky. On the finish, I get syrupy coca-cola and alcohol notes. At 50 abv this is a sweet and easy drinker with a little bit of an alcohol bite. At under $40, I would consider getting this again.35.99 USD per Bottle -

At its current pricing and availability, this is a must have! Nose: Apples, caramel, and dusty milk chocolate Taste: Light body. Smooth, dark fruits, spice, and dark chocolate Finish: Medium finish. Notes of sweetness and oak 2019/03/1240.0 USD per Bottle -
Nose: granny smith apples, green grapes, honey, malt, and a hint of cinnamon on the end. Taste: medium oil mouth feel. Rich honeyed malt with a touch of spice. Finish: Medium.. honey, grapes, and barrels The nonchilfiltering and the texture of this whisky really comes through. This bumps it up from a 3.75 to a 4.0 in my books. 2019 bottle52.0 USD per Bottle
