Tastes

Not much of a bourbon drinker, but I found this to be very smooth. Sweet, yet not as syrupy as Jack Daniels. It does finish quick and clean. Because I find that it doesn't linger as long on the tongue as others, the time between sips is shorter.

This is what I like to use for mixed drinks or Bulleit Rye, as they aren't as expensive as the Rocky Mountain or Renezvous Ryes. It's also good enough to sip on straight with a little ice.

So my bro likes bourbon and is a cheap mofo. He bought this, I drank it on ice straight to sip as a taste and it had a weird almost medicinal finish. Kind of offputting. It started ok in my mouth and on my tongue as I swished it around, but the aftertaste soured me. He paid $16/L - I had two drinks with coca cola & that helped, got me buzzed though! Party/Rail drink booze.

Definitely different, a nice change of pace. Expertly blended - never heard of a scotch / rye / bourbon blend before - worth trying, but don't bother if you don't like scotch.

This is my go to Rye blend. Excellent as a sipper, I could drink this all night if it wasn't $50-$60/bottle. Makes an Old Fashioned or Manhattan just a bit more special. I prefer it with a little ice. Tons of flavor - sweet, vanilla, a little peppery spice.

Very smooth, an excellent sipper. Fortunate enough to have bought two bottles before it sold out everywhere. Spicy, yet sweet, but light in the tongue with no booze burn
