Third time tasting. I enjoy this as a daily rye or someone getting introduced to rye. It’s pretty friendly from the pocket to the belly N (4.5): I scored it this high because there’s one note that is pleasantly unusual. Brown sugar. The one I can pick out is like fresh bread. Lemon zest, wild flowers and that rye seed smell very lightly at the end. I can smell this for days P(4): bunch of kitchen spice. Light nuttiness like the end of almond. Rye. Vanilla followed by some nice spice. F(3.25): fun finish. Medium length with medium strength finish. Spice. Floral. Rye. Vanilla bean. A medium gentle hug. Actually. The floral rye likes to hang around for a while and changes to an off putting bitterness25.0 USD per Bottle

Got this ~4 months ago. About 60% left. N (4): chocolate wood initially followed with a bright red apple. Nutty chocolate on the second smell. P (4.25): sweet cherry with a hint of oaky vanilla cream. Not strong or bold but tasty. F (3.5): short finish. No hug. Some vanilla hanging at the very end with tiny bit of spice and leather Easy drinker. I would pick up another one at this price as a daily no problem.20.99 USD per Bottle

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed November 20, 2019 (edited October 15, 2020)I would rate the score higher if it was a more filled bottle. Had a pour of this at a bar. The bottle was at 10% mark. Had it in a tumbler. I prefer GC but they didn't carry any. Gold label N (4): Initially punched me in the face and I couldn't get anything. After tasting and I resniffed it, got some caramel sweetness with a hint of fresh banana. No need to add water to this one, I just put my nose too deep. P (4.5): Initially with some dark bitter chocolate in the front then got a hit of brown sugar in a oatmeal. On the second sip, it was a bit sweeter than bam....full on banana cream pie. Cream made with full fat cream. Had some nice spice around my tongue as well. F (4.5): Spicy creamy banana with oak finally coming in. Heat was mild. Pretty long lasting. I'm definitely going to pick up this bottle. It different than the other bourbons on my shelf. First time tasting bananas.60.0 USD per Bottle -
