An intense, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky by John Glaser in Scotland combining a smoky malt Whiskies from Islay with medium-peated Highland Whiskies; matured in first refill casks from the Caol Ila & Ardmore distilleries, bottled at 30PPM (Phenol Parts per Million). It has a bold birth with vegetal peatiness, hints of bacon, dry hay, banana & cardamom; while a fruity life adding notes of peat smoke, malt & toasted sesame oil; that leads to a long & bittersweet death with notes of dry smoke, pear & iodine. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & fruity life adds notes of ripe blood orange, pears poached in red wine, sponge cake with berries, vanilla panna cotta, mint & hints of fresh malt & Sherry wine; that led to a balanced death of medium length adding notes of lemon zest, dried cherries, oak, almond, cinnamon, & chocolate chip-raisin cookies. An intense, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky by John Glaser in Scotland made with highland single malts like Teaninich; comprised of 60% fruity malt Whisky from the villages of Brora, 20% meaty malt Whisky from the village of Carron & 20% fragrant malt Whisky from Alness. For the primary maturation stage, all of the Whiskies are aged in a variety of American oak & French casks. 60% of this blend is then re-casked in Glaser's distinct hybrid casks. It has an aromatic birth with notes of stewed fruit, ginger, spice, toffee apple & stewed fruits; while a balanced life adds notes of sweet malts, tart fruit, red apples, tannic, honey, Christmas spice (clove & vanilla); that leads to a long & spicy death with notes of oak, malt & milk.
