Tastes

Decent dram very sweet with caramel and vanilla , delivered with a lot of power from the cask strength but mellows out after awhile. If you like having a sherry bomb of a scotch this is a nice dram. It did seem to change a lot towards the end of the bottle and not for the better. It got too sweet and became very single note in taste. I have a hard time reaching for it know.

Just tasted this for the first time. Blow your mind. Hit of sweet then the peaty smoke followed by some subtle brine and salt. Then the peat lingers. This was amazing. If I could find this I would buy as much as I could afford.

On the nose I get fruit first and lots of floral notes . On first taste I get pepper with fruit , apple, vanilla oh I am going to really enjoy this bottle.

Very easy drinking , dried fruit, biscuit almond. Love this expression. I will always have this one on hand.

"The more I drink this the more I enjoy it and find new flavours. One of my favourite and will always have this on hand. " “Apple pie” always get a apple vanilla cinnamon finish and then a soft pastry after taste.

Awesome. I don’t get why so many hate on this whisky. It’s smooth, interesting and has enough flavours going to satisfy everyone. It’s soft , sweet, I like it and would always have this on hand.
