Nose: for me it's quite unpleasant smell, more like sweetness of rotten dark fruits. Only after a while I can see some other notes: cereal, cake, citrus, some peat. But it's worst aroma that I have experienced so far, like socks after one week use. Maybe smthg wrong with my bottle? But the taste is decent Palate: not like nose- light, sweet, some ash notes. Orange peel bitterness. Nothing too fancy, more on a pale side. Feels watered Finish: short and unremarkable. Nose killed this one for me... I'll not by it again for myself and will not recommend it to anybody. May try it in some bar just to see if it's smells the same, lol

Nose: fresh, light, sweet. Vanilla, citrus. Palate: Complex. Creamy, soft vanilla, pleasant and interesting. Oak. Finish: light and pleasant. Sweet In overall very pleasant and well known bourbon. I may even say classic. Good for mixing, don't have that external taste as others especially rich in rye one. Definitely will consider in a case of bourbon thirst.

Nose: sweet, vanilla, herbs, wood, melted caramel, pastry, acetone. Typical bourbon. Palate: no burn on taste buds, sweet, oak, vanilla, spices Finish: medium, again sweet, astringent oak. Great as Old Fashion. Good bourbon in general but it's too sweet for me. I'm still not a bourbon guy, so probably will not buy it again... But may recommend it to a friend If you have a sweet tooth - this bourbon is for you!45.0 CAD per BottleLCBO

Nose: sweet, fruity, honey, dried banana. Peach but faded very fast. Bushmills signature apple/pear notes. More bourbon influence than sherry. More mature aroma then original & black. Palate: Irish character, light bitterness/tannin, toffee. Better with a splash of water, sweet and easy going. Water really smoother the sharpness and bitterness. For less sharpness let it sit for 15 min in a glass. Finish: light fruits, strong black tea, pleasant and short. I'll still pick Black Bush over 10 years... Or 1.5 bottles of regular one) Not bad in general, nothing specificly significant. Still feels young. I don't see myself buying it again47.75 CAD per BottleGatineau

12 yo. 40% vol. Colored, Triple Distilled, Cooper pot. Bourbon + Sherry (Oloroso) casks. Nose: pear, fruit jam, sweet copper, bourbon notes, hard candy, tost, oak. Minimal Sherry influence, but still there. Palate: sherry, sweet and complex. Woody notes. Light spiciness. Copper bitterness. Finish: long, oily, sweet & spicy. Mouthful fruit sweetness. Like you ate some fruit bisquet lightly soaked in brandy . Very delightful Conclusion: bourbon nose for me is downgrade but what an amazing finish for this baby! Taste is complex and rich, can be too soft and polish for someone because of the triple distillation. You can spend hours chatting with this dram discovering new aspects, shades and notes. Colored. It's a keeper. I would recommend this to try at least once.69.0 CAD per Bottle

NAS 40% vol. Bourbon & Sherry casks Nose: sherry I definitely there, rich, fresh, dark fruits, honey, banana cream, cherry, wood. Some bourbon notes. Palate: oily, fruits, light sharpness. Oakiness. Finish: sweet short with some grain. Good every day drink. More mature than regular Bushmills and much better overall experience. Perfect blend for the money! It's a keeper

Nose: smoke, dried fruits, ethanol, citrus... smells like suppose to smell proper whiskey in minds of majority. Palate: friendly, light sweetness, oak, smoke and spices. Warm but not too much burn and alcohol is there but in proper amount. It's not so harsh as you would thought by the name "black" and affordable price. Palate is more balanced and complex than nose for me. You can spend quite some time discovering new shades and notes. Finish: medium, silky, pleasant, woody and fruits. I can't say anything particularly bad about this blend except the price in Canada - it's 58 cad (47usd) , it's just too much. You can find a decent single malt in this price range. Black is twice more expensive than Red, is it twice better? It's an open question... Just wish it would be in 35usd price range. Doubt I'll buy it myself, only on promotion or discount.58.0 CAD per Bottle
