Nose: iodine, medicine, bandaid, salt water, smoked meat, peat, wet wood. Reminds me Ardberg 10 but lighter. Light notes with fruits deep down. Some sweetness deeper, more after first sip. Palate: sweet, smoky, ash at start. Oily. No burn, pearl at the back. You just understand that's a smoky Islay whiskey. Finish: ocean, ash and smoke but in pleasant and bright way. Strong cigar aftertaste - but I'm enjoying it ( not a smoker myself). Sea breeze till the end of the day. Very pleased with the experience consider affordable price. I tried only two Islay whiskeys - this one and Ardberg 10 and I'm a fan so far. Laphroaig 10 compare to Ardberg is more salty and ashy at taste but nose is similar in some way. Definitely a keeper!74.0 CAD per Bottle

Bourbon smell but more mature. Woody sweet notes, not 100 proof nose, burned sugar, vanilla, light smoke at the back. After some time some light pickle. Palate: light burn, clean taste with some smoke, spices and toast. Finish is fast, warm and pleasant. Mixer: did an awfull job in whiskey sour. Made one with regular Bushmills and Creek same proportion and ingredients: Creek - weird color (more like dirty, maybe it's rye), no foam, taste was ok. Bushmills was perfect - milky foam, pleasant taste, light and more yummy color. Maybe it's the difference in alcohol level - 50vol vs 40vol. But Creek did good as Old Fashioned Probably will not buy again, but will try some other Rye

45% vol. No chill-filtered The influence of bourbon barrels is really strong on both the nose and palate. Nose: Sweet, reminiscent of bourbon, with notes of sugar and spices. Palate: A bit too harsh for me, with hot waves, dryness, and a corn distillate flavor. Finish: Oaky with a hint of plastic. There's too much bourbon character in this one for me, lacking the distinct Irish character. I will not purchase it again.

43% alc. Nose: sweet & pleasant, citrus, smoke, sherry, light saltiness. Palate: start as soft, tender and sweet after smoky notes and peat Finish: light kick, wood and spices. Mouthful. Great value for the money! Consider how rich and we'll balanced it is, definitely worth a try! + no coloring another plus I was a bit sceptical about all the hype but now I can see why it is. It's definitely not the best on the market and far from Islay character but it deserves your attention. It's a keeper

I'll prefer this one over Jameson hands down. More reach aroma and complex taste. One of the best young whiskey for me. Nose: sweet and light, peat/earth, honey, apple, pear candy. little bit of ethanol, mild spices. Palate: pleasant, rich, some wood at the back, light kick. Finish: light alcohol, herbal and sweet. It's my go for everyday sipper. Also it's my grade standard - I compare every whiskey to this one. Very good for the money but spend little bit more for Black Bush - another level Great in whiskey sour and old fashioned! Always in my bar!

Nose: Bourbon nose, sweet fruits, vanilla, honey, salted caramel and cloves or sweet nuts? Much more pale nose with ice. Palate: Complex, oily and rich taste with some spices, oak - better than usual bourbons. (Easy going on rocks - probably because of high proof) Finish: Long finish unlike in bourbons, soft and pleasant. Will not buy myself
