Tasting along w double black and gold. Almost indistinguishable from them. Actually, on last sip, I prefer the cheaper expressions which have more peat flavor and taste less watered down. This has some ethanol notes in the finish that are unpleasant

The review is spot on. Watered down but decent for a blended scotch. Very similar to double black.

Tastes like Not unpleasant mix of water, caol 12, glenmorangie 10. Mostly ‘smooth’ (diluted) islay peat in the front, highland orange notes in nose and subtly in finish

Surprising good neat. Thin of course at lowest abv, but it’s like a watered down ballechin 10. Highland standard fruit notes, highland peat. Not worth buying a bottle but i will always get this neat in a bar w/o good options

Drinking this side by side with bunna 18, it’s inferior to that in viscosity and complexity and richness of flavor.
