Heaven Hill Green Label 6 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed September 18, 2020 (edited December 20, 2021)this is a hidden treasure in the world of bourbon, for a few reasons. first and most glaringly obvious this is only sold in Kentucky, however it is widely available and easy to find in Kentucky. It is very cheap at around $13 for a bottle and 23$ for a handle. its also very smooth and taste amazing its 95 proof so a bit lower than all the cheap bonded in bond options out there but this can still compete. when in kentucky I usually grab a 1.75l or two of this because its the best band for your buck cheap mixer or sipper daily drinker bourbon you can get.13.0 USD per Bottle -
Im very new to rum this is the 3rd rum I have ever tried in my life and is my favorite. Coming from collecting bourbon and whiskeys I am surprised and delighted by how cheap and available older vintage rums are. This for example was 19.99 at total wine. it was a great purchase to dip my feet into rum and is great neat or with ice. even though it is only 80 proof it has long oily fingers when ice is added and is not thin watery and heavy on the alphol/ethanol taste when sipping lower proof aged spirits like rum and whiskey. If you can find this for 20.00and want to see what something other than Bacardi taste like I highly recommend this bottle19.99 USD per Bottle

J.W. Dant Bourbon Bottled in Bond
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 18, 2020 (edited July 31, 2023)not my favorite of the sub 20$ bonded/100 proof bourbons out there, old grand dad, wild turkey, Evan williams are all a little better in my opinion . although this is alot cheaper than all those. this is the cheapest whiskey I would be willing to drink neat, though regrettably14.0 USD per Bottle -
My favorite bourbon so far. Took a little bit of searching but I managed to find a 750 ml for 25.99 which I felt was an absolute STEAL! Heavy notes of oak and cherry on the nose and smooth soft finish with hints of vanilla long oily fingers inside the glass this was the best pour I've ever had.25.99 USD per Bottle
