Pretty good at this price. Caramel and toffee for me with oak and done heat on the finish. Would buy again

Not overly deep or complex, but nice warm cinnamon and vanilla in with an oaky undertone. Not the smoothest, but not harsh

Jury is still out for me. Honestly starts a little harsh, but has some nice lingering notes underneath. Better as it breathes, some apple and oak come out. Definitely herbal/floral and nuanced background, just not entirely sure how much I like the combination. Would not immediately call it a “balanced” whiskey.

It’s good, and the complexity comes out as it breathes. Fair amount of heat, but lots of flavor underneath that. Some sweet vanilla toffee heat with more subtle stuff in the background. Could lie and say its tobacco or leather but idk tbh. Good, but without the horse on top wouldn’t wait in line for it

Nose is nice seet malty vanilla toffee, with the palate revealing a lot more nuance for me. I get a rich and balanced herbally mix, with anise and licorice sort of flavors. It has heat, but its mellow enough to let the flavors shine.

Exactly what I wanted from it. Sweet and smoky, oaky, Jack profile with a little more heat and body being bonded. Very bbq reminiscent

Much more honey, vanilla and overall sweetness coming through as it breathes and I sip more. Better balance with the notes in there

First impressions are a warming earthy and herbal nose and palate with some leather in there too. As my palate adjusts, I get more of the smoother vanilla and caramel notes, but they arent forward for me.

Flavorful but it comes across a bit woody, astringent and harsh for me tonight. Will have to give it another go sometime.

A nice leathery/tobacco/rustic note on the nose and initial palate along with classically balanced sweetness and spice. Not a ton of heat, pretty smooth. Enjoying it. Pick up a lot more cinnamon as I sip.
