Plenty of boozy heat, but that melds with layers of sweet cinnamon honey and vanilla with an oaky toasty note as well. Well balanced and enjoyable sip. Only caveat is there are comparable bourbons with far less hype. That being said, still a great bourbon

Notes of vanilla and spice with a cherry oak finish. Its not as rich or nuanced as that sounds though. The heat on the finish borders on harsh. Would be interesting to try this with 2-4 more years in the barrel.

This time around tastes pretty cheap. Its not awful, but it doesnt stand up to sippers very well. Would probably prefer Benchmark 8 around this price.

Really nice, well balanced, flavor forward bourbon with lots of oak while retaining layers of flavor and enough heat to support it on the backend.

Cinnamon, mint, anise. A little bold without the balance and a touch thin. Not bad at all though. Similar vibes to Willett Pot Still for me.

Its a barrel forward pour with lots of oaky, smokey, char. A ncie warming baking spice as well. Its a nuanced beast with dynamic notes. I like it, but there are comparable and less coveted bourbons too.

I enjoy it. Its a tad harsh with forward oak and spice that almost leaves it with a profile that rides the line between unpleasant sharpie sort of notes and a nice dynamic woody heat. I get leather and caramel apple in the middle and the finish is pretty nice. Not my favorite, but its decent and different.

Agree with prior review. Spice forward, not much of the vanilla bourbon sweet notes. Some tart woody oakiness on the finish.

A nice combo of heat, cinnamon and fruit. A very sippable juice that is overall a well balanced and enjoyable bourbon
