Flaviar bottle 04/2022. Color is a lighter yellow amber, but the nose is surprisingly complex and caramel-oak. Wow! As someone who loves bourbon and normally hates Irish whisky this one is as advertised- a nice cross-over/gateway! The barley makes it quite smooth, and there is plenty of caramel and vanilla to cover up the taste I normally don’t like. The flavor is simple, though, and doesn’t really develop. Perhaps some butterscotch, but a lot of roasted nuts.

Bardstown Bourbon Co. Fusion Series #6
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 10, 2022 (edited September 27, 2022)(Comparing to Fusion #2). Bought at Costco - Granger. Color is very similer - medium amber, but smell is much more of a pleasant, salted caramel. “Sultry notes of cigar box, worn leather, split vanilla bean, and brandied cherries invite excessive inhalation. The palate is rich and vibrant with ripe, oily citrus, pie spice, and a bit of lavender. The oak is well-balanced, offering just the slightest astringency on an otherwise lush and lingering finish accented with notes of dark caramel sauce, cocktail cherry, and fudgy brownies”48.99 USD per Bottle -
