Bought for a discounted price at Meijer on Grape (usually $39). Very lightly colored and transparent. Herbal and popcorn on the nose. Herbal, corn, probably wheated and higher barley content. Smooth and a nice, sweet finish. Subtle, sweet, soft, creamy, winey. Butterscotch, honey, raisin, caramel, fruit. Notes of buttered and peppered corn.30.0 USD per Bottle

Bought a bottle at Meijer on Grape rd. Certainly rye spice and backburn, but sweeter with nice caramel notes with a buttery feel. If I had to guess, mostly rye with corn and a hint of barley. Hazelnut is the flavor I couldn’t put my finger on! Decent for a rye, but I think I prefer Michters27.0 USD per Bottle

Reviewed January 2, 2022Nice for a flavored whiskey! Prefer this to Journeyman’s cherry whiskey. Lot’s of cherry syrupy flavor -
Barrel #87 - Aged 53 months - Woodmans Supermarket. Gifted to me by Justin Kurk at his rehearsal dinner. 93.82 proof, 46.91% alcohol. Nose is nice - lots of corn and body - even a little cornbread. Taste is a little bland - corn but not much character. A little hard to drink, maybe a hint of rye/pepper

Journeyman Distillery Silver Cross Four Grain Whiskey
Other Whiskey — Michigan, USA
Reviewed January 2, 2022 (edited June 24, 2022)Batch 141, Bottle 1116. Once I gained more of an appreciation for whiskey, this one comes through quite nicely. Equal parts rye, wheat, corn, and barley. Grain, cinnamon, slightly bitter. 1% for golf! -
