Flaviar blind tasting from Dec 2022 (done 3/21/23) A - [ ] Lightest colored of the three, a brighter yellow - [ ] Smells like licorice, some peat, and very green aromas - [ ] Peaty, young flavors - AWFUL!

First bottle I bought after Stryker was born. A little disappointing - I like the 86 proof and the 1920 barrel proof. This one is just a bit lacking

Loaded with vanilla and sweet sugars - almost like this was finished in a toasted barrel

Flaviar bottle 01/2023. Actually quite nice and not as ethanolic as the proof would suggest. Straightforward vanillas and caramels with nutty leather notes, with none of the fruity, herbal, or flowery riff-raf. Solid choice that is an easy sipper. Smooth, but nothing too special.

Fantastic! Shown up by the bottled-in-bond variant, or this would score higher. Exceptional whiskey with great high-rye boom. Had first at Temple’s house
