Classic Bourbon honey with a slight fruit tinge from the PX barrel that's wrestling with an ethanol layer. This whiskey could stand to be aged longer to work out that ethanol and bring another desirable note into the flavor profile.

Molasses and honey with a hint of cinnamon. Not bad for the price. They're headed in the right direction, but don't yet have the volume or age range to choose from yet to be up there with the Kentucky bourbon giants. My bottle was barrel 16D21S, bottle 105 of 250.

Classic Laphroaig peat and iodine with a nice layer of fruity sweetness from the wine casks. Definitely worth a try while it's available

Light fruits, honey, maltiness. Not super dense or oily

Deep, rich herbal spice with a slight note of butterscotch preceding a prominent black licorice. Slight wood note on the back end

Deep coffee and chocolate, smoke, funky

Buttery, fruity nose with a nice rich palate that lives up to it, combined with a silky mouthfeel. Absolutely THE quintessential pot still Irish whiskey.

Smoky, briny and rich like you expect from Lagavulin with the 16's minty-grassy note. The Guinness cask adds a thin dark chocolate undertone in the finish.

Buttery and slight fruity notes with a bit of barrel spice. Reminds me of a quality blended scotch in some ways. Nice pleasant drink and easy to find. Makes a killer Irish coffee btw.
