Carmel, vanilla flavors abound with an oak and pear nose. Finish is a hint of spice with extreme balance and smoothness. More like a nice scotch. Loved it.

Spicy/peppery but not overly so. Just enough for character. Smooth finish. Oak comes thru nicely and balanced by sweetness. Excellent pour. Will buy again.

Very nice blended whiskey. Fruity, floral and sweet. Pleasant finish with the brandy cask infusion coming thru just a hint.

Currently my favorite rye. Complexity with a great sweet/spice balance. Cinnamon and clove hits you and lots of oak comes thru while the sweetness provides excellent balance.

A little more expensive than Nikka’s Coffey Grains but equally great. Only knocked it down to a 4 because I liked Coffey Grains variety a little better. Similar dynamic twist on whisky with a hint of black licorice finish. Delicious.
