Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 8, 2020 (edited August 25, 2020)Cherry all day long. Nose, palate, finish. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, this is a good fit for you, however it isn’t overbearingly sweet. I enjoy this one when I’m in the mood for it because it is a change from the classic bourbon notes. The price IMO isn’t too bad. Maybe a tad high but I have no problem shelling out $50 for one of theseSimone's Beverage -
Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 8, 2020 (edited August 17, 2020)Nothing about this jumps off the page at me but there is nothing that I don’t like about it. Silky smooth, tasty, a very good example of a classic bourbon IMO even though I get some minty hints all around. Nose: spearmint, oak char and caramel Palate: spearmint right away and has leather on the finish. Sits on your tongue for a decent amount of time. Fantastic value for the $$ this one is very reasonably priced -
Old Ezra 7 Year Barrel Strength Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 8, 2020 (edited March 15, 2021)Good sipper. Not as smooth as some but by no means unbearable. Corn, oak and vanilla cookie dough on the nose Chocolate comes through on the palate along with some decent heat. Both linger through a medium finish. Price to me is good on this one, I had no problem paying $55 for it -
No mixture of finishing staves in mine. Got mine from Cleveland Ohio, mine is straight 10 staves of makers 46. Nose: heavy vanilla and leather Palate: vanilla and packs a decent amount of heat Finish is short and fairly tasteless but the heat tingles the lips for a few seconds before tapering away. Not overly impressed with this one. Not awful by any means but I won’t be lining up at the store the next time this limited release comes out. There is better value for the money out there in my opinion.

Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Single Barrel Bourbon (Wheated Bourbon)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 22, 2020 (edited July 7, 2021)Nose: sweet with a lot of corn and hints of vanilla Palate: keeps the sweetness. Brown sugary taste with a very mild sweet finish -
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch B518
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 5, 2020 (edited April 17, 2020)An intense nose. No surprise at 134 proof but a lot of rye on the nose with hints of vanilla and cinnamon as well. Same goes for the palate but it has a very chocolatey finish. Has some heat but for being this high proof it isn’t much. Delicious -
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed January 5, 2020 (edited January 20, 2020)Heavy oak on the nose along with a hint of banana. Continues the same way on the taste with a long finish. I don’t care for jack Daniels much but this is a pleasant surprise. Very tasty -
1792 Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 5, 2020 (edited February 6, 2020)Nose: very fruity and citrusy Taste: a little bit of heat with butterscotch, vanilla and pineapple. Very tasty and affordable to boot. -
Vanilla and apple on the nose. Keeps the apple on the taste and adds a nice cinnamon burn. Burn is light though, taste and after taste are very smooth. Get the typical Weller/BT sweetness. A little bit more of a burn here but fairly complex and very tasty. Price tag is around 55-60. Tastier than special reserve IMO but it should be since it is 25-30 dollars higher. 107 is great neat, on the rocks and in cocktails, worth the $$.
