Bulleit Bourbon Blenders' Select No. 001
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed November 28, 2020 (edited December 9, 2020)Nose: apple, brown sugar Taste: sour, tannins Finish: dry, baked apple The taste really lets this down for me. Objectively good whiskey, but the tannin and sour fruit combo did not taste good to me. Others may like this a lot though.60.0 USD per Bottle -
Full disclosure: just drank some glennfarclas 12 before this. Nose: grain, barley, musty, floral, baked bread Taste: tannin, cherries, sour Finish: spice, cayenne/chili pepper, long finish The real take away from this whiskey is the spice on the finish. It is powerful and I love it!55.0 USD per Bottle

I think this is better than recent bottlings of Lagavulin 16. I prefer a more in-your-face drink though. Nose: bacon, smoke, ocean breeze/salt, caramel Taste: iodine (mild), pepper, sea salt, brine, raw clam Finish: pine smoke With some water and time, this becomes a sweater drink, a little honey comes through, but all the other flavors stay in play.57.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: white wine, cinnamon, honey, wet spring flowers, grass, vegetal Taste: vanilla, baking spice, honey, apple juice, butter, light olive oil (not salty) Finish: baked apple, baking spice Thoughts: Very delicate. Baking spice throughout the whole experience. This is supposed to be a very consistently good whiskey. I really enjoyed it.29.99 USD per Bottle

Nose: smoke/peat, salt, slow cooked meat Taste: iodine/medicinal, salty sweetness/mint (only after a few minutes, then it exclusively tastes like iodine), wet smoke Finish: iodine, ash Thoughts: Nose is really fantastic, but the flavor doesn’t match it. If it did this would be a much higher rating. Cheap as hell though.18.99 USD per Bottle

Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 3, 2020 (edited February 25, 2020)Nose: brown sugar, heavy alcohol burn, Taste: brown sugar, honey syrup, Finish: spice, chai spices (nutmeg/cinnamon), maple Thoughts: tons of alcohol burn unless you add water and let it breathe for 10 or 20 minutes, very sweet once it has calmed down a bit. Fantastic cheap whiskey once past the alcohol burn.13.99 USD per Bottle
