Tastes

This one kept getting better the further down the bottle I got. The fruity elements where very evident on the nose, the carmel was delightful on the palate, and the sherry/spice/pepper at the finish was the real prize. Thoroughly enjoyed this bottle and highly recommend.

Good vanilla on the nose and palate with a hint of spice at the end that fades away quickly

Lots of vanilla and butterscotch on the nose, which carries through to the palate, which is is pleasant and smooth, but underwhelming. Some peppery spice at the finish that fades quickly.

Enjoyed this by a camp fire. Nose had a good amount of licorice and a hint of citrus, maybe oranges. The citrus carried through to the palate and then a nice long, rye appropriate spice at the finish

Very strong wood notes on the nose and is complimented with some mild spice on the palate. Only disappointment is that it is a quickly vanishing finish.

Lots of chocolate on the nose and on the palate, which is quite wonderful. Not much of a finish, but still pleasant.

Could be due to the amount of time I've had this in the decanter (7+ months) but the palate is really flat and mildewy almost, but still had a pleasant spicy finish

Big time vanilla on the nose and some wonderful brown sugar on the palate and a big, long blast of spicy for the finish. Love it.
