The nose definitely packs a punch with the high proof coming to meet you right out of the gate. Once you get past that you get some classic HH notes of vanilla and brown sugar, with the tiniest hint of candied apples. On the palate you get a quick hit of corn, but then the pepper spice comes in hot and heavy quickly after. There is also cream corn notes, but the spice overtakes all. The finish is a long, warm, and pleasant Kentucky hug.

Belle Meade Bourbon Sherry Cask Finish
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Tennessee), USA
Reviewed February 25, 2022This is straight up weather's originals on the nose, with some dark fruits. Palate brings vanilla and some oak notes, then has a nutty finish that finishes too quickly. Very enjoyable. -
Belle Meade Sour Mash Straight Bourbon

Reviewed February 25, 2022Wonderful nose of caramel and citrus, turns to cinnamon and spices on the palate and has a nice rye spice finish of medium length. Downfall is it has a thin watery mouthfeel -
This one starts out with all sorts of yumminess on the nose. I'm getting dark cherry, apples, cinnamon, and a bit of roasted marshmallows with a slight hint of alcohol. On the palate this has a nice creamy mouthfeel at first, but thins out towards the back. I get a sense of baking spices, honey, leather, and then some pepper spice at the end which carries through the medium to long finish. Overall, yummy.

Vanilla and butterscotch great you upon the first whiff. Just underneath the surface there are also notes of rich dark fruits drizzledwith some honey. Pepper spice pops up immediately on the palate. You also get some leather and wood notes. The mouthfeel is a bit thin and the finish is quick and leaves your mouth a bit dry. Definitely enjoyable and a good candidate for an easy daily sipper.

This starts off wonderfully with vanilla, creamed corn, and honey on the nose. There is a nice silky smooth mouthfeel as soon as it hits your palate. There is then a surprising swing to leather, tobacco, and pepper with some of that 101 heat in the mid and back of the palate. Finishes with a nice Kentucky hug that continues the spicy notes while having almost no bite from the higher proof. Overall, a very solid pour that does not overpower, serviceable and pleasant.

The nose is a straight up vanilla and caramel bomb. The palate brings lots of heat and spice, cinnamon and baking spices, with the vanilla and caramel riding the undercurrent to the back of the palate. The finish is is quick and intense, overall not much here to not like.174.0 USD per BottleSouthern Spirits - Beer, Wine & Liquor Store

This one has a very pleasant nose to start off. I'm getting honey, green apples, and then a little bit of anise and ethanol. It has a very oily mouthfeel, but almost none of the herbal and spice notes you would expect for a rye. Instead I'm getting vanilla and some more honey. The spice does make an appearance at the end, along with some spearmint. Not blown away by this by any stretch, but it is certainly a pleasing pour nonetheless.

The nose starts off with some wonderful honey, apple and some citrus notes. The more you dive in you start to pick up some of the underlying floral and herbal notes from the rye. On the palate the sweet notes continue but then the pepper and spice notes start to take over. The mouth feel is thin, but not in an unpleasant way, almost silky. The only let down is the finish which ends quickly. Overall this is one of the most easy drinking ryes I've tried.
