Definitely smokey on the nose, with some lite appke notes underneath. There is even an eccense of smiked ham. Spice and more smoke meet you on the palate, but then finish fades surprisingly quick for such a high proof whiskey.

Nose: somewhat muted with fruit notes of apples and pears along with some buttered popcorn and vanilla Palate: immediate notes of butterscotch and vanillla with some pleasant oak spice coming towards the back Finish: short to medium with mostly spice and tiny amount of fruit from the nose

Nose: the classic Jack Daniel's banana fosters note covered in honey, with some faint herbal notes underneath Palate: banana, honey, oak spice, slightest hint of maple Finish: quick with some herbal notes lingering longer than others

Nose: total vanilla bomb with cinnamon and other baking spices, with hints of oak and caramel Palate: oak spice right out of the gate, followed by vanilla and caramel covered apples Finish: quicker than expected, but the oak spice and vanilla lingers at the end

Nothing spectacular, but a wonderfully solid bourbon that won't disappoint

Every time i come back to this bottle I'm continually impressed. Lots of toffee, vanilla, caramel, and ample spice makes this a enjoyable sip. The price and 1L bottle size make this the best value in bourbon!

I've had to spend more time with this bottle than normal before reviewing, but here we go... Nose: caramel covered popcorn, vanilla, and a hint of cotton candy Palate: bits of oak spice, covered in vanilla and candied corn Finish: short, dry, with some lingering sweetness

I enjoyed this more than the regular BH. Could definitely see and taste the difference the red wine finish had on the Whiskey, was dry with some dark fruit and Oak tannin notes. Overall a richer and more fulfilling pour than what you normally get with this brand.

Nose: some nuttiness, vanilla, and a hint of cherry - Jim Beam for sure Palate: more nuts and vanilla with some baking spices, slight cinnamon and clover, towards the back Finish: spice, vanilla, and oak with a medium to long finish
