Heavy ethanol on the nose. Fiery taste, long lingering finish. There's vanilla in there, but it's tough to find. It's very mediocre.

About a month later, down to my final pours . Nose is still young, high on the ethanol, light on vanilla and more corn. Decent taste with a mild finish. Some flavors I get are still a baking syrup or spice, vanilla, and a slightly burnt caramel.

Initial nose is that of a young whiskey, but after a lingering moment vanilla wafts up. First sip is mild, almost neutral in flavor. Eventually the finish has notes of vanilla and a sweetener or spice I cannot quite name - maybe molasses? There's a small lingering burn that's borderline appealing.

Initial nose is red wine, the dangerous grape juice-kind, but also that slight scent of a young whisky. Taste reminds me of a dry red, grapes, and red-fruit. It has a creamy texture with a long finish of toffee and a very slight burn.

Smooth, easy drinker that's fantastic to sip neat.

Sharp, very sharp. A few drops of h2o opens it up a bit and I get a hint of vanilla, but it's more lemon and citrus than anything else.
