The Liberator Irish Malt Whiskey Tawny Port Finish (Inaugural Release)
Blended Malt — Ireland
Reviewed March 9, 2024NEAT: So much fruit on the nose. Tart fruit, cherries, green apple, berries. Slight chocolate note and some vanilla. Wow drinks like a scotch. Heavy cherries throughout and a nice cherry pie finish. Middle has an interesting maltiness. Pretty light on the tongue. Decent alcohol but no real burn. Definitely getting the port pretty deep in the aftertaste. First time really venturing into Irish Whiskey. Pretty solid! Would drink again. Glad I got the bottle. -

Benchmark Single Barrel Bourbon (95 Proof)
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed March 1, 2024 (edited March 13, 2024)NEAT: nose is heavy with brown sugar sweetness. That pretty much dominates the nose. Taste is thin but aurprisingly spicy. Some baking spices in there and light brown sugar. A decent pour for the price. Probably makes a good mixed drink. -
Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 23, 2024NEAT: very sweet aroma. A lot of honey on the nose. Very little alcohol. Some caramel. Picking up some fruit on the taste with definite sweetness all the way through. Very little alcohol burn. The slightest oakiness. Great mixer. Honestly good for being a very cheap bourbon.
