Tastes

Nose: some oakyness, dark fruits, slight Vanilla Palate: Creamy, cherry or dark fruits, a slight bitterness on the backend but Still Smooth. Spice and sweet. Finish: Dark fruits lingers, some alcohol burn on the way down and that bitterness again, walnuts maybe? Warm spices. Thoughts: Decent Bourbon for sure, but nothing i would go out of My way to get. Will happily drink if offered. I prefer This as a mixer if i'm honest, and only for cherry coke which i think it pairs very nicely with. But not worth the Price for a mixer.

Nose: Hint of smoke and salt, Brine, subdued sherry sweetness. The coast comes to mind. Very pleasant. Palate: Sweet and Salty, a bit dry, almost like liqorice root. You can Still taste the Sherry. Finish: Just fantastic. Spices start to flow, Pepper, you can definitely feel the heat. It soon gives way for some brine which then fades into sherry sweetness and lingers for a bit. You can feel the dryness on your tounge and top of the mouth. Thoughts: This whiskey takes you on a taste journey that's absolutely fantastic. For This Price it must be One of the best whiskeys in its class.

Nose: Sherry, oak, hint of Vanilla Palate: lots of Sherry, Sweet, gentle spices, Smooth with no alcohol burn Finish: some lingering spice and sherry again. Hint of dry Wood at the backend. Not getting any toffee i Keep seeing in other tasting notes. Thoughts: it's a bit simple, really it's mostly sherry notes the whole way through with nothing to make it stand out. Did not Enjoy the nose that much. The whole experience is consistent though and it is pretty Smooth, i can see why this is a Good beginner whiskey. The Price does not seem justified in the end.

Slightly smokey with a wonderful fruity aroma. Hints of salt, gives it a coastal feel.
