not too smokey on the nose (surprising for an Islay!) But more nutty/almond with vanilla. Complex palate (excellent) - a journey. Started nutty/mild smoke which progressed to a lingering peaty finish with slight smoke - not too overpowering.

Peppery smoke on the nose. Dark choc/salt caramel palate. Smokey-peppery finish (long) with hint of fruit. A complex one!
