    Nose and flavor reminds me a lot of Wild Turkey. Thin, young and sweet. Mouthfeel gets thicker as it sits. Fairly hot. 3.7.

    Light straw color. Unique nose. Can’t really quantify what I’m smelling. The flavor is definitely sweet. Cotton candy? The mouthfeel is definitely thicker than I would have expected.

    The nose is rich and much like a nice bourbon. Has a peanut nuance to it as well. The is ultra-buttery with a sweet honey, sherry and peanut butter flavor profile and aftertaste. The oak finish is muted. The flavors grow more intense as it rests. The heat is right where it should be. This is not just an exceptional Irish Whiskey, it’s an exceptional whiskey of any style. 4.45.

    I’m by no means a vodka expert. My ratings are purely based on personal enjoyment. That being said, this is a perfect example of the “absence” of flavor...which makes this particular vodka extremely dangerous. It drinks like water with the faintest waft of vanilla appearing on the nose only. It’s 41% alcohol and I get almost zero heat from it. Crazy! Anyway, I’m sure it’s great in the vodka world...but probably only good for getting REALLY inebriated, REALLY fast in my world.

    It’s probably worth noting that this pour has been exposed to prolonged cool outside air. The color is on the darker side for a Scotch. The nose has a huge chocolate covered cherry aroma. Subtle cherry notes on first sip with mild oak on the finish. The mouthfeel is full, but not quite to a Highland 18 level. This is a nice, moderately-rich, unique option to a standard Scotch. 3.76.

    Nose is hot and spicy. Rather thin and lacking in flavor/depth. A light sweetness with some subtle pepper and cinnamon. Oak comes through on the finish. Vanilla is prominent later on in the pour. Unfortunately, this is a fairly disappointing rye.

    Oak, apple and vanilla all come together in a fairly sophisticated nose. Very creamy with a delicate sweetness. Vanilla, apples and pears with considerable oak on the finish. A really nice Scotch.
