Beautiful light orange copper color. Butter Rum LifeSavers on the nose. Sweet sugar cane/brown sugar/molasses, vanilla and a heavy dose of oak dominate the flavor profile. The 60% ABV definitely presents itself...but fades into a long, pleasant, peppery burn. 4.20.

Not a lot going on on first nose, but c’mon...it’s a vodka! The taste, however, is unlike any vodka I’ve ever sampled. Sweet and peppery/spicy with subtle musty oak on the backend. Extremely distinct and sophisticated.

Light butter rum, vanilla, pepper and cinnamon on the nose. Very aromatic flavor profile with new leather, wet oak and cologne elements. Citrus oil creeps in farther along on the journey. There’s a reasonable amount of heat on the backend to keep it interesting.

Medium copper color. Light/medium body. Heavy doses of vanilla, overripe pineapple and subtle oak on the nose. Zesty spice hits you immediately on the sides/back of the throat on first sip and thereafter. The palate has a grassy/straw vibe with strong oak flavor and light vanilla sweetness. Develops a more vibrant flavor as it sits. Certainly not in the ballpark of Foursquare’s 2005 vintage, but for $50...is it supposed to be? 4.05

Aggressively dark in color. Strong notes of overripe dark fruit, leather, vanilla, butterscotch, brown sugar and Lemon Pledge on the nose. Smoke is there, but you have to look for it. Viscous, oily mouthfeel. The extra kick from the 116% abv is perfect. This one has a sophisticated palate. Just sweet enough to make it entertaining, but not overbearing. Light oak and subtle citrus accents surround a very Scotchy flavor vibe. Overall, delightful. 4.15.
