Nose: Fruity, Fig, oak Taste: very sweet on first taste very pleasant stays consistent with a medium ling finish which tastes like a total cherry bomb! Overall: i grabbed this in Kentucky and $100 for a 375 is pretty pricey but 1910 is probably my favorite shelf bourbon so i had to try. Its definitely got a different flavor profile. Very fruity from start to finish100.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: spices. Spearmint with some traditional oak and learher not too much burn for 107 proof Taste: Spicy but pretty pleasant not too hot. Getting nice traditional spices on the front end. Quite a nice finish on the end with traditional caramel and oak finish. Thoughts: theres good and bad here but more good. 12 year age statement for a 50 dollar bottle is great value. That being said for a 12 year old bourbon there isnt much complex going on here either. I am a fan of willett but would prefer johnny drum with a similar price tag. Its not the easiest bottle to find so i would say if tou see it by a damn bottle and give it a shot! Not much downside here at the price50.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: caramel and raisins Taste: i saw another review said it tastes like a fig newton and dammit that is pretty damn spot on. Definitely get the sherry taste on the finish. Overall: $100 is a price point I feel like you gotta really blow my socks off and this one just about does it. I live in Cleveland so ive been dying to try this given all if the national love this has gotten. I was actually prepared to take the 2 hour drive to Columbus to try and find one but then by fate my local store had one (shot out to Corkscrew Johnnys great bourbon selection if you ever travel to Cleveland/akron). Im eager to try other stuff from middle west after this. Cheers friends100.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: very scotch like smell too it i got lots of honey notes as well. Taste: very unique rye notes, fruity notes similar to what you would find in japanese whiskeys. There is a very mild scotch taste as well. The finish is shorter than i expected but very nice. Like peach cobbler on the finish Overall: this is unlike anything ive ever tasted. This certainly wont be for everyone but i enjoyed it. Very drinkable. For anyone looking to try new blends and flavors this is a must try. I am going to seek out other redwood special editions.100.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: Oak and vanilla pleasant scent but nothing overpowering Taste: vanilla, raisin, pretty short finish and i didnt get much complexity Overall: i should preface this by saying i got this bottle for $25 from The Party Source clearance store pick section. So for that price it was a no brainer and i had heard good things about woodinville. For me this was very average. There was no age statement but i thought it tasted young, i will say It was a pretty smooth drink for the high proof but was hoping for some more flavor. This one definitely didnt discourage me from trying other stuff from them but also didnt blow me away.25.0 USD per Bottle

Jefferson's Tropics Aged in Humidity
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 29, 2024 (edited October 21, 2024)Nose: vanilla, leather, cedar. Cinnamon Taste: first initial taste has some spice and caramel. Very nice long lasting finish where you get some real nice spice like cinnamon stick ish taste Thoughts: very few bottles i would have dropped $100 on without trying first but this concept was too cool for me to not try it out. Couple that with jeffersons has bought aome good will with me. I have yet to try anything from jeffersons i didnt like at least a little. In the end i think it does justify the price. Its different than anything else ive had and the finish is very enjoyable.100.0 USD per Bottle -
Isaac Bowman Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels
Bourbon — Virginia, USA
Reviewed March 28, 2024Nose: plum, raisins doesnt have a traditional bourbon smell at all Taste: caramel notes on taste along with raisin. Moderate finish where you can taste the port finish for sure. For $40 or so i would say this is one you could do some damage with! Its not overly complex but its got a unique taste to it. Ive seen it compared to angels envy and i can definitely see that. Very drinkable and for the price definitely worthy of a spot on your shelf when you are looking for something different -
George Dickel 13 Year Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky (Fall 2008)
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed March 27, 2024 (edited October 17, 2024)Nose: cherries, oak, leather tinge of orange Taste: sweet cherry with a cherry cola finish. The finish is probably my favorite part of this bottle and i think shows off the age which you definitely wont get with other bottles in this price range with shorter age. I love this bottle. I was always scared away from trying Dickel stuff because if the flinstones vitamin reviews. I can honestly say i dont taste it at all. I first had a barrel pick pour at a whiskey bar and i loved it. Hence then seeking this bottle out. It was kind if hard to find but i did find it eventually for MSRP. I love this bottle and looking forward to trying more stuff from dickel50.0 USD per Bottle -
Nose: wood, banana, plum, leather Taste: sweet, very sweet like candy also cherry notes on taste. Very impressive finish with more sweetness almsot tastes like cherry cola on finish I flat out love this bottle for $45 you are going to be hard pressed to find a bottle that packs this much flavor. This was my reintroduction into what JD is doing now as i was one who thought it was all old no 7 mixing with coke and ginger ale. Or flat out pounding shots in my younger days just to get hammered lol. This bottle was my gateway bottle into other things JD is doing now and if you havent noticed its pretty dang good stuff.
