Appearance: amber, caramel Nose: Spicy oaky and vanilla. Nutty Palette: Nutty and spices, sweet vanilla and oak after Finish: Long and heat but nice on the way down. Toasted sugar and marshmallow Value: $80 Wine and Spirits Edgewater. Pricey but quality product. Overall: Interesting nutty yet sweet flavor profile with the classic flavors. A nice and strong barrel proof at a decent price. Nice presentation with the box.

Value: $45 Total Wine River Edge Great barrel proof at a great price Overall: Amazing flavor at an amazing price. Well worth every penny!

Appearance: Chestnut like gold and amber. Nose: Brine, smoke, lapsang souchong. Some sweetness pokes through Palette: Strong rich oily malt and peat with sweetness after. Finish: Long finish of lingering smoke and peat Value: Very tasty and amazing at a decent price for age. Wish it were a bit lighter on the wallet but it is what it is. Overall: Fantastic single malt Islay that I keep coming back to. Such great and distinct flavor.

Appearance: Dark amber, mahogany Nose: Sweet, oaky, vanilla and caramel Palette: Lots of heat, pepper and oak but sweetness mixed in. Maple and caramely Finish: Long, lots of oak and some sweetness Overall: Lovely big hit but not overwhelmingly strong. Great classic bourbon flavors and sweetness along with lots of oaky taste. Surprisingly easy to drink while keeping all that flavor. Excellent wish it were easier to find at a good price.

Appearance: Light gold Nose: Smoke and peat! Some fruity hints and orange. Palette: Smokey and a bit of spice and some mint or brine and oily Finish: Longer hint of smoke and pepper with shorter everything else Overall: Seemingly one heavy peat smoke characteristic but actually complex with sweeter fruity and some peppery notes. Delicious to drink. Wish a little cheaper.

Appearance: Amber and copper Nose: Vanilla, oak, caramel Palette: Lots of vanilla and oak. Classic bourbon profile with a bit of spicy kick. Finish: Cinnamon and more oak. Value: Really strong classic bourbon at this price. Great daily drinker option. Overall: Solid classic bourbon notes at a great price. Nothing too complex and you know exactly what you’re getting. Lovely everyday drinker.

Like a cookie Finish: Long vanilla and oak comes out Value: pretty fantastic for the price Overall: Lovely and complex notes on the nose and taste while still being nice and smooth. A staple to any collection.

Quickly in and out but some alcohol lingers. Overall: A light vanilla flavor and smooth drinking. Decently priced. Not really picking up the port finish.
