The Cadillac of the Johnnie Walker line lives up to it's reputation in every way. This is a Scotch designed to appeal to the masses and it does so beautifully. Scotch connoisseurs who prefer their whisky to be well defined (ie: peaty, smoky, fruity etc), and who typically don't like a Scotch that tries to be everything to everyone, probably won't care for this. Those who just like good Scotch will love it. Anyway, an extremely smooth and well balanced blend with a touch of smoke and a hint of sweetness that lingers on the pallet beautifully. Definitely something every Scotch lover should try at least once in their lifetime.

Glenfiddich 21 Year Reserva Rum Cask Finish
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 15, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Quite a bit going on here. Complex flavors blend beautifully and this is a damn fine Scotch! Yes, it is a bit pricey but we're rating whisky based on taste, not cost per dram and that being the case I repeat, this is a damp fine Scotch! -
