Quite nice—probably one of the least expensive but still smooth tequilas for sipping.

Not as earth-shatteringly delicious as their reposado, but a tasty tequila none the less. I think the extra age throws off the balance on this one, making it a bit sharper. Still good though. Would do well in a cocktail where you wanted the tequila to stand out a bit more.

    A solid sipper.

I think this is harsher than their Repo, which is generally not how more age should work. And I don’t mean smokier or oakier—I mean it bites you back, and not in a good way. It’ll do in a pinch for a mixed drink, but in general there are better balanced things out there.

Bought it for some girlfriends because it was pink and phallic. I hope they didn’t drink it. This stuff is awful. Way too harsh. Something I would expect from a bottom-shelf-handle, with some pink color to make it “girly.” Yep, I got suckered. And it’s not even cheap, so seriously... mistakes were made. Put some pink food color in some El Jimador instead.

This is my go-to for margaritas if I can’t find Casamigos. Mixes nicely into a cocktail without overwhelming the rest.

Meh. Underwhelming. Nothing in particular to make it unique or particularly pleasant. Just. Tequila. It’s not horrible, but I’d mostly buy it if I didn’t recognize any other brands in a remote location, or if all the others were mixto crap.

This is fantastic—especially for mixed drinks that you don’t want to scream tequila. It will hold up, only the very non-tequila crowd would not recognize it, but it’s nice and easy and smooth. Really rounds out a cocktail. Great for people who think they don’t like tequila. I’m not crazy about celebrity liquor, but damn Clooney apparently knows what he’s doing. Or at least when he’s got at winner...

My rating is the combo of price meets quality. For the price, you CANNOT beat this repo. Great in mixed drinks, and great for a gathering without going broke. No, it’s not as good as Casamigos—but it costs half that. Buy it for what it is—something decent that you can do whatever you want with and not break the bank.

This is one of my favorites—and by that I mean top two (this and Avion 44). It’s sweet-seeming and vanilla, but has just enough of an edge to remind you it’s still tequila. Sip this and while eating s’mores (or Handel’s Graham Central Station ice cream) —that may be the craziest thing you read on this app, but you’ll thank me later.
