Yuck. So bad that I tried multiple times to give the bottle away.

Perhaps the best bourbon I’ve ever had. Was a gift from Derek for NWCAT’s one year anniversary. Light smell. Light entry, smooth midpallet, mildly sweet, yet very full bodied finish, almost zero burn. An amazing experience. Always drink neat.

Scotch. Not exciting scotch. Not makes me want to drink it again scotch. It was mildly fruity, very light fragrance, and smoky finish. Overall, I wanted to finish my drink so I could pour something more enjoyable.

Mine was actually the 12 year sherry oak. Day 23 of my 2017 advent. Sherry on the nose - fruity, but with Carmel undertones; Pleasant smell. Smooth, cool entry. No midpallet impression. Long finish with minimal heat. It’s kind of plums/grapes/apples on the finish. Not too much though. Long pleasant aftertaste. It’s good. Not something I’d turn down, but not something I’d seek out either. I’d prefer something a little scotchier, less sherryish.

Christmas party at Josh and Allison’s 2017. Loved every drop and had to go back for seconds and thirds. Over plenty of ice every time. Never tried neat.

Smooth and delicious over plenty of ice. Tried in OKC on a cannonball run to deliver hanging anodes.

Day 22 2017 advent. Very unique. Not delicious enough to want a bottle, but would order a glass again if available. Not very scotch’s, mildly fruity, mild burn, and bad aftertaste.

Advent day 20. Full bodied Smokey smell. Fruity fire taste. Surprisingly warm, long finish.

Mostly forgettable advent experience.

Tried in my advent, but don’t remember much about it. Making it no more than 3 stars.
